Kitchens

Bespoke and trade cabinetry, installed properly.

Most of our kitchens are part of a wider home renovation — often involving a knock-through, new electrics, a new boiler position, and changes to plumbing and gas. We handle the lot, including the structural work that comes with opening a kitchen up to the rest of the house.

We fit kitchens from any supplier. Trade ranges, designer ranges, bespoke makers, IKEA. We have favourite cabinet manufacturers we recommend, but if you've already chosen yours we'll fit them. The fitting is what matters most.

We build worktops in stone or quartz, run plumbing for waste disposers and instant-hot taps, install induction and gas hobs, vent extractors properly to outside, and integrate appliances flush. The splashback isn't left for ‘the tiler next month’ — it's the same job, finished by the same people.

The way we work on every kitchens project.

01

Designed early

A kitchen lives or dies by where the sockets and the waste pipe are. We sort that before any cabinetry arrives. The earlier you can show us a plan, the cheaper your kitchen is.

02

Built level

A run of cabinets is only as level as the floor it sits on. We level the floor before the kitchen goes in, not after.

03

Vented properly

Extractor hoods are ducted to outside, with rigid duct cored through the wall. Recirculating filters are a poor second; we use them only when there's no alternative.

04

Worktops set out by hand

Stone and quartz worktops are templated by the supplier in millimetres. We supervise the templating, mark every socket cut-out, and check the seams before they're bonded.

05

Finished to the last detail

End panels match. Plinths sit flush with the floor. Drawer fronts line up. The integrated dishwasher door panel matches the kitchen, not the dishwasher.

Recent kitchens work.

Honest, specific, no price list.

Typical scope Full kitchen design (where wanted), strip-out, structural work, fit and finish.
Typical timeline Four to eight weeks for the kitchen itself; longer if structural or knock-through work is involved.
Typical project size Standalone kitchen projects from £30,000. Most JAG kitchens sit within a larger refurbishment.

Real questions, answered honestly.

Can you knock through to make an open-plan kitchen?

Yes — provided the wall isn't doing structural work that can't be replaced. We work with a structural engineer to design any steels needed, then build, finish and test. Building Control sign-off is part of the package.

What worktop materials do you fit?

All of them. Quartz, granite, marble, sintered stone (Dekton, Neolith), solid wood, stainless steel. We'll tell you what each one is good and bad at.

Do you fit kitchens you didn't supply?

Yes. If you've already bought your kitchen, we'll fit it. If we're buying it, we'll tell you which suppliers we like and why.

What about appliances?

Same answer — we fit whatever you have or have chosen. We have favourite brands for ovens, hobs, hoods, fridges and dishwashers, and we'll share the view if you ask.
