A restored Victorian terrace in Walthamstow, East London — JAG Construction
Home renovations & building restoration

Built like our own home.

A small London builder, working on a small number of projects at a time, in Walthamstow and the postcodes around it.

Request a consultation

We take every project on as if we were going to live in it. The detail is the work. The work is what we sign our names to.

01

Consultation

We come and look at the project, listen to what you want to achieve, and put together a written scope and a fixed price. The consultation is free, takes about an hour, and doesn’t oblige you to anything. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you, and we’ll usually know someone who is.

02

Build

A small team, on site every day, working through the project room by room. One number to call and one person who answers. Materials are agreed before they’re ordered. Changes are agreed before they’re made. The price you sign is the price you pay.

03

Handover

A renovation is finished when the snag list is closed. We walk every project ourselves before we hand it over; the list should be short by the time you see it. After handover, we stay on the hook for twelve months — anything that needs adjusting, we come back and adjust it.

A VICTORIAN TERRACE

A small builder. A short list of projects at a time.

I’m James. JAG is a small team based in Walthamstow, working mostly in the Victorian and Edwardian terraces of East and North London. The kind of houses we live in ourselves. We know how they’re built, where they fall down, and what hides behind the lath and plaster.

We work on a small number of projects at a time so each one gets the attention it needs. The same faces are on your site from the first day to the last.
